All meals are made to order in Cork, using locally sourced ingredients and cooked in small batches to ensure exceptional quality, safety and consistency.

Multi-Portion Packs for Food-Service Kitchens
Our multi-portion hot meal packs are ideal for schools with on-site catering teams. These bulk packs allow staff to heat, portion and serve efficiently, making them perfect for high-volume service. With no cooking required, meals simply heat and serve, reducing labour, saving time and ensuring consistent results every day.
Individual Heat-and-Serve Packs – Zero Waste, Zero Hassle
For schools without full kitchen facilities, our individual portion packs offer a convenient, portion-controlled solution. Each meal is ready to heat and serve, eliminating preparation time and ensuring no waste. These packs are perfect for breakfast clubs, after-school programmes and classrooms where quick, reliable service is essential.

Hot Lunches
The School Meals Company range of Post-Primary School main courses with side dishes, is the most extensive in Ireland. Unlike other School Meal companies, we produce all our meals on site from raw ingredients. Our team of skilled and experienced chefs work to carefully crafted recipes that are designed to provide students with healthy, fresh, and nutritious meals.
The School Meal Company meals are designed with meet the guidelines as set out in the Healthy Ireland guide document.
Our range of individual portion meals come in 2 sizes
- 230gm – Primary Schools
- 350gm – Post Primary Schools
All meals are packed in recycle packaging and can be heated in an oven or microwave. The School Meals Company range of meals are all Gluten Free unless otherwise stated Our Halal Range is independently verified, and our vegan range is certified by the UK Vegan Society. All Meals are made to order and have a shelf life of 7 days in a chilled format or 365 days in a frozen format. We have a minimum order quantity of 24 units of any one meal.
